Today, the Minister of Education and Research, Kristina Kallas, met with the ambassadors residing in Estonia at the Saue State High School, which was opened in autumn. The minister introduced to the diplomatic corps her priorities, among which is the promotion of educational service export.

According to the minister, the potential of Estonian educational service export is currently not fully exploited. “We have a lot of edtech companies with a promising future. If we also take into account that Estonia has reached the top of the world in education in a very short time, there is no doubt that there is great interest in what is being done here. Our task is to satisfy this interest in such a way that we also profit from it economically."

According to Taavi Vilba, the director of the Saue State High School, which opened last fall, the first academic year we focused on creating a sense of the school and the flow of teaching. "I am very proud of my school family. With this team, international cooperation is only a matter of time."

Representatives of 27 countries took part in the meeting. Traditionally, the Minister of Education and Research meets the ambassadors once a year in the format of an outing. The last meeting with the diplomatic corps took place in October in Ida-Virumaa.
