"The war in Ukraine has also destroyed the local research field, which is why it is extremely important today that Europe continues to provide comprehensive support to Ukraine both in building up the country and joining the European Union," Kallas said and expressed Estonia's readiness to support and connect the research landscape of Ukraine with the EU.
Minister Kristina Kallas will also meet the science ministers of Finland, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain and Portugal during her visit to Brussels.
Photos from the visit will be added to Flickr.
